Labour Party (LP) has officially withdrawn its petition against the election of Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara.
The withdrawal was confirmed by LP’s governorship candidate, Beatrice Itubo, who emphasized prioritizing the state’s interests over personal expectations.
Speaking from her Ogbakiri country home, Itubo urged all residents to support Governor Fubara for the progress of Rivers State.
The move to drop the case is seen as a call for unity and collaboration in moving the state forward, transcending political differences amid the ongoing political dynamics in Rivers State.
