The Holy Month of Ramadan is the best time to pray for Nigeria, according to House of Representatives Speaker Abbas Tajudeen.
He claims that the nation needs to pray for heavenly intervention.
His Special Advisor on Media and Publicity, Musa Abdullahi Krishi, made the remarks in a message congratulating Muslims in Nigeria and throughout the world on celebrating another Ramadan.
Abbas asked all Nigerians, not only Muslims, to pray for the country’s unity and President Bola Tinubu’s administration’s ability to address the myriad socioeconomic and security issues the country faces.
He asked Nigerians to keep in mind in their prayers those who have been kidnapped by different armed groups and held captive around the nation.
He said, “May Almighty Allah (SWT) accept our prayers and supplications as an act of Ibadah, and grant us the grace to navigate through this turbulent time as a nation”.
