Abia State Bloggers under the auspices of Online Media Publishers Association of Nigeria(OMPAN) has elected the Publisher of PUO Reports Mr Promise Uzoma Okoro as Its State Chairman.
Before the commencement of the election, the two candidates contesting for Chairmanship Promise Uzoma Okoro and Mr Clinton Uba had signed a Peace Agreement alongside the Elders of the UNION to abide by the outcome of the election.
Announcing the Results, the Electoral Commitee Chairman Comrade Ugochukwu Nwankwo said 34 Voters were accredited out of the 35 Members by the ELECO to participate in the election.
According to the Results declared, Promise Uzoma Okoro polled a Total of 24 Votes to defeat his Rival Mr Clinton Uba who polled 10 Votes
Reacting after his declaration, the Chairman Elect Mr Promise Uzoma Okoro Promised to carry every member along and REVIVE the Union which was his Campaign message
