According to the Tinubu Media Support Group (TMSG), former vice president Atiku Abubakar’s frequent criticism of President Bola Tinubu is a reflection of his intense unhappiness.
It claimed that this was especially true given that Tinubu accomplished in a single try what Atiku had battled for thirty-two fruitless years.
In a statement released on Tuesday by Jesutega Onokpasa, the group’s chairman, the group stated that it was not shocking that Atiku was exploring a variety of national issues in order to make himself politically relevant for a potential second presidential run.
It said: “While it is his fundamental right to offer his views in a bid to trade tackle and test President Bola Tinubu-led government in the marketplace of ideas, he betrays reason and stands logic on its head with hollow, irrational and poorly-researched so-called solutions.
“And as informed Nigerians still rate him for who he is- a political hustler with ill-digested, hare-brained ideas- he has added another by mooning around the National Assembly, specifically at the Senate where one of their own erred.
“A scrutiny of the vice president’s recent rapid press releases revealed his inner frustrations and perspiration in the face of silent successes as a result of major interventions by the Federal Government confirmed recently by leading local investors and global financial institutions such as Moody and Goldman Sachs. ”
In addition to nailing the Senate’s ringleader, Senator Abdul Ningi, the group emphasized that the recent attempted coup in the Senate blew in their faces in broad daylight and was not the President’s responsibility.
It stated that Atiku’s salvation is imminent, claiming that his obsession with being relevant until 2027 has eclipsed his actual concerns and that he is now experimenting with unrelated topics.
It emphasized that, to exacerbate the situation for his handlers and his rapidly disintegrating supporters, his statesmanship in the marketplace is rapidly losing value, and his reason has vanished.
