The Member Representing Isiala Ngwa North and South Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives Hon Ginger Onwusibe In Saturday at the First African Church Mission Amapu Ntigha in Isiala Ngwa North Local Government Area said it was God that saw him through during the 2023 General Elections.
The Lawmaker who spoke during his thanksgiving Service recalled how he left his former Party when he was denied the return ticket of the People’s Democratic Party(PDP) for Isiala Ngwa North State Constituency, which he said spurred him up to contest the House of Representatives seat which he eventually won.
“Most times I come to this Church alone in the midnight and tell God to please take over my battles and never allow me to be put to shame”
“I have always faced opposition in all the elections I have contested but at the end, God always give me Victory”he said.
He called on Politicians to anchor their Hope in God which he said never disappoints those who trust in him.
Abia State Governor Dr Alex Otti who was along the guest that honored the Lawmaker’s invitation appreciated him for recognizing the role of God in his Political career.
The Presidential Candidate of the Labour Party on his Part called on the People of Isiala Ngwa North and South Federal Constituency to continue to support Hon Ginger Onwusibe which he said has shown quality representation of his people.
