Former Rivers State Governor and Federal Capital Territory Minister Nyesom Wike has criticized several PDP leaders in Rivers State for endorsing the state’s current governor, Siminalayi Fubara.

In an interview with reporters in Abuja on Tuesday, Wike made this claim.

Remembers that last week, PDP leaders in Rivers State, including Abiye Sekibo, Uche Secondus, Celestine Omehia, and Austin Opara, the former congressman, announced their support for Fubara and urged President Wike to take action.

In response, Wike stated on Tuesday that politicians Sekibo, Secondus, Omehia, and Opara were all past their prime and weren’t deserving of the title of “elder statesmen.”

They were all unimportant, the FCT minister declared as he ejected them from the gathering.

Since the court had upheld Secondus’ suspension, Wike argued that he was no longer a part of the PDP.
