Senator Daniel Bwala, a former lawmaker, has poked fun at the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) over its current predicament.
Bwala compared the situation to that of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and Somalia, implying that the issue is more complex than one may initially think.
Following a report that the former governor of Rivers State was granted permission to join the party’s caucus meeting before to today’s National Executive Council (NEC) meeting, the statement was made.
Wike is currently serving as a minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT.
In the most recent presidential election, the former governor of Rivers headed a breakaway group of five dissident governors who supported Atiku Abubakar, the party’s nominee.
Bwala, however, stated in a metaphorical manner that Wike is a wonderful example of the idea that the only way to combat counter-insurgency is with non-kinetic military force.
The former legislator continued by requesting that anyone among his X followers who had a photo of a monkey clutching an elephant’s balls drop it beneath his post.
He said: “Wike perfectly fits the analogy that a non-kinetic military approach is the only solution to counter-insurgency. The problem is deeper than you imagine. The case of IMF and Somalia.
“Who has the picture of a monkey holding the balls of an elephant? Pls drop it here”.
