The Abuja branch of the Academic Staff Union of Universities, or ASUU, has declared an indefinite strike in protest of events that threaten the union.
Following its congress on Thursday at the institution’s permanent site, the ASUU branch in Abuja declared its intention to go on strike.
Leadership was informed by the union’s UniAbuja Chairman, Sylvanus Ugoh, that the union had decided to go on a complete and permanent strike starting right away.
