Twelve governors from the South were received by Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun on Monday at the state’s presidential residence in Abeokuta.
Godwin Obaseki of Edo State, Alex Otii of Abia State, Babajide Sanw-Olu of Lagos State, Ademola Adeleke of Osun, Umo Eno of Akwa Ibom State, and Seyi Makinde of Oyo are the governors.
Others include Biodun Oyebanji of Ekiti State, Bassey Otu of Cross River, Chinyere Ekomaru of Imo State, Monday Onyeme of Delta State, and Olayide Adelami of Ondo State as deputy governors.
At approximately 1:18 pm, the governors convened in the Marque hall for a closed-door meeting.
The seventeen governors were expected to be there, according to a banner publicizing the visit.
