Olympic Games: Waldrum unveils Super Falcons 2024 squad

Randy Waldrum, the head coach of the Super Falcons, has revealed his Olympic team for 2024.

Waldrum’s 18-man roster featured important players Asisat Oshoala, Chiamaka Nnadozie, and Rasheedat Ajibade.

In addition, there are strikers Esther Okoronkwo, Chinwendu Ihezuo, and Uchenna Kanu; midfielders Deborah Abiodun, Halimatu Ayinde, Christy Ucheibe, and Toni Payne; and defenders Oluwatosin Demehin and Michelle Alozie.

On Thursday, the players and their representatives will leave Abuja for a two-week training tour in Sevilla, Spain.

On Thursday, July 18, the team is expected to leave Sevilla for France.

Spain, Japan, and Brazil—the current world champions—are in Group C with the Super Falcons.
