Sam Amadi heads Committee on LP election reform [FULL LIST]

The Labour Party (LP) has appointed analyst Sam Amadi as the head of its election reform committee.

According to LP, in order to guarantee free and fair elections, the committee is required to conduct a comprehensive analysis of its electoral system.

The National Publicity Secretary, Umar Farouk Ibrahim, signed a statement on behalf of the party announcing that the committee will be launched on Thursday, July 4, 2024 at 11:00 am at the national headquarters in Abuja.

The statement read, “This is to inform members of the public that the leadership of the party has approved the following persons to serve as members of Labour Party Electoral Reform Committee.

“It is their responsibility to conduct a comprehensive analysis of the electoral system to ensure free and fair elections.”

“The committee has three months to deliver the party’s report.”

The following are the members:
