On Tuesday, the Kano State Government brought new charges against Abdullahi Ganduje, the former governor of the state.
Ganduje and the former Commissioner for Justice, Musa Lawan, were charged by the state government in the charge sheet associated with case No. K/143c/24 with criminal conspiracy and misappropriation, which are against Section 308 and punishable under Section 309 of the Penal Code (as amended) CAP 105, Vol. 2, the laws of Kano State, Nigeria.
The state administration stated that the offense is, on the other hand, illegal under Sections 97 and 315.
Ganduje and Lawan were accused of abusing their positions by the state administration.
The state government stated in the charge sheet that it plans to call four witnesses.
The arraignment has not been given a set date.
