The Media Unit of Hon. Destiny Nwagwu, Commissioner in the Abia State House of Assembly Commission has rejected the purported Congratulatory Message by the candidate of the People’s Democratic Party(PDP) Aaron Uzodike, describing it as as complete‘deceit’
Aaron Uzodike had shortly after the swearing in of Hon Destiny Nwagwu described him as a good man in his purported congratulatory message, but the Media office of Hon Destiny Nwagwu in a statement on Wednesday Morning said it cannot accept Congratulatory message from a ‘mandate thief’
“What was Aaron Uzodike thinking when he decided to Congratulate Hon Destiny Nwagwu who defeated him clearly at the polls in the 2023 State House of Assembly election for Aba North State Constituency”
“A man who went to Court to steal the mandate freely given to Hon Destiny Nwagwu lacks the morality to Congratulate him because if it’s still possible, he may likely approach the court to contest his Inauguration as a Commissioner in the Abia State House of Assembly Service Commission”
“Let him take his purported Congratulatory message to the Court of Appeal as we are still awaiting the writ of summons from him faulting the appointment by Governor Alex Otti, Hon. Destiny Nwagwu does not need it at all”the statement stated.
