Dear, Mr. Ndubuisi Ike.
Our attention has been drawn to an open letter you wrote to our Principal, Hon. Amobi Ogah, the Member Representing the good people of Isuikwuato/Umunneochi Federal Constituency dated 9th August 2024 which you published yourself in several social media platforms especially the Umunneochi LGA Platform.
While our team of lawyers are already carrying out their professional and forensic audits on it, it is however good we put the records straight against your stack falsehood and cheap blackmail targeted at your heighten desperation to transform yourself from Mayor to Executive Chairman of Umunneochi LGA.
In your first line, you acknowledged you went to Hon. Amobi Ogah’s office in the company of Chief Obiora Ifoh (“Recall that on 16 July 2024, we (Honourable Amobi Ogah, Ndubuisi Ike, FCA, and a National Officer of the Labour Party) held a meeting in your office at the National Assembly, Abuja” (picture attached).
We like to know if the national officer could confirm this your childish and disjointed lies? You equally forgot to let the public know that you went to beg the Rep. Member to support you in your inordinate ambition to run for the office of the Executive Chairman. And when Hon. Ogah insisted that it should be the turn of Umuchieze to produce an Executive Chairman, you went off track. He even stressed the fact that Umunneochi Zone 2 (your zone) has about 7 political positions including the office of National Publicity Secretary of Labour Party, Mayor, two SSAs, LGA party Chairman, state party exco member; while Umuchieze (zone 4) only has the office of the Deputy Mayor.
In the same paragraph, you did mention of receiving intelligence report (“In the meeting, I told you that I received intelligence reports that you were undertaking or planning to undertake acts capable of the breach of peace in Umunneochi. In response, you said “yes”), but you unintelligently failed to mention the agency that supplied this “almighty intelligence report”, nor mention the type of acts Hon. Ogah was about to take.
Oga Mayor, we would like to know from your cheap lies if a well-publicized party meeting (with the police notification and acknowledgement) constitutes such acts that are capable of breaching peace in Umunneochi? (find attached).
We also like know if the parallel party meeting you are planning on the 16th of August 2024 with your brother (Ike Chinedu Opigwe) as the leader, is more legal and peaceful that the one being convened by Hon. Ogah?
In your blatant and cheap lies, you also reported that Hon. Ogah requested up to the half of Umunneochi monthly allocation as the only basis for supporting your ambition to become the alpha and omega of Ndi Umunneochi (“You specifically stated that Umunneochi will be receiving a monthly allocation of four hundred million naira (N400mln) and that you must decide the use of at least two hundred million naira (N200mln) and that I must accept it or you would “scatter everything”). We like to inquire from you if Chief Obiora Ifoh who accompanied to Hon. Ogah office was equally together with you while these unimaginable discussions were going on? Let assume that your vituperation against Hon. Ogah emanates from the fact that he told you to give Umuchieze chance to produce the next Executive Chairman of Umunneochi, we would like to inquire from you the offence of other stakeholders like Hon. Mathias Ume, Dr. Chukwu Oluebube and Hon. Chaka Chukwumerije who you have evidently sponsored unfounded propagandas against?
For Hon. Chaka, you sponsored a propaganda that he was masterminding a protest against Governor Alex Otti in the build up to his nomination as a Commissioner in the State. For Hon. Ume (Nwachi) and Dr. Oluebube, you sponsored your partners in crime (Mr. Opigwe and Ekperedike Chukwu) to impersonate the Councillors to petition and blackmail them.
You continued your childish fabrication by reporting that you queried Hon. Ogah on his alleged sexual harassment (“We also discussed your alleged sexual harassment and victimization of a party leader, a married woman, an act that you said you did not commit”). We like to ask when did you become a lawyer or security office whose duty is to be flying over the country investigating cases of sexual offenses? Probably, you thought that every other person is a nymphomania like yourself who harass LGA female workers at will.
In the same token, your ignorance and desperation led you in assuming what you are proposing in paragraph 4 (“In view of your plan to “scatter everything”, undermine the peace of Umunneochi, and the illegality of your act, I have, as the Chief Security Officer of Umunneochi Local Government Area, acting in good conscience and in the interest of the public, cancelled your purported meetings planned for Tuesday, 13 August 2024. This cancellation extends to any meeting being organized or puported to be organized for the Labour Party in Umunneochi, except such meetings that are organized by the Labour Party Executives, for the time being, led by Honourable Monday Ekemezie Onyebueke”).
In order to educate your ignorance, we like you to note that under our Laws and relevant International protocols applicable in Nigeria by virtue of domestication and endorsement, there is no person, the President of Nigeria inclusive, clothed with the power and/or authority to deprive anybody or group of persons the fundamental right to freedom of association and peaceful assembly, guaranteed under section 40 sub 1 of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, 1999 as amended.
Of course, there is no need of bothering you with the current position with regard to the recent SC ruling on the local government autonomy. We do know that your love for power and subjugation, but please stop arrogating yourself the powers you don’t possess. If you must know, the SC has abolished the office of TC chairman, and as far as the constitution is concerned, we don’t have any local government chairman in Umunneochi currently.
Again, we equally sense that you are in mad rush to execute the clandestine and obnoxious agreement you recently had with other opposition parties in the Umunneochi to kill labour Party in Umunneochi. This is why your rubberstamp Party Chairman has never called party meeting for God knows how long. His only stock in trade is to divert and sell any palliative made for the Local Government. The unholy agreement against the party has equally made your younger brother to convert Abia Arise political structure as the tool of intimidation, harassment, and personal gains.
As we round off, we uncovered other shameless lies in another publication in pursuit of your inordinate ambition where you lied that Hon Mathias Ume did not capture any project in favour of Ndi Umunneochi. In fact, it is very unfortunate that a mayor of a local government lies with reckless abandonment. In the 2024 budget, a lot of roads were captured by Hon Nwachi (the HoA) member in contrast to your unbridled falsehood (find attached):
In looting of the treasury, under Ndubuisi Ike’s watch, his younger brother (Mr. Ike Opigwe who acts as a pseudo LGA party chairman, mayor’s Chief of staff, secretary to the local government) diverted and sold bags of rice graciously given to party executives in Umunneochi by the Governor.
Under your watch, Oga Mayor, your younger brother goes around destroying the party by removing congress elected officers of the party.

For over 9 months of Mr. Ndubuisi Ike’s administration as a mayor, all Umunneochi people hear is “I will do” while nothing has been done. He didn’t see what his Arochukwu counterpart had done or other progressive LGAs.
In his desperate attempt to return as an executive chairman, Mr. Ndubuisi has turned all the Radio House in Umuahia into his office. Question: does Umunneochi LGA now have a department in Rapid FM and Flo FM? This is at a time where the Governor is moving to other LGAs for project commissioning; why Umunneochi Mayor is always moving to Radio house to make empty noise. What sycophancy and desperation can’t does not exit.
Finally, we wouldn’t know how many of Umunneochi citizens still remember how ‘Mr. Holy Ndubuisi Ike’ duped many poor people of their hard-earned monies running into million with the account detail (1016765967, Zenith Bank) all in the name empowering Ndi-Umunneochi. Oga Mayor, please write another letter explaining to us what happened the N1000 contributed by more 3000 Umunneochians.

Time would fail us in disclosing how Mr. Mayor embezzled the money meant for supervising bush clearing in Umunnochi.
Ask an average Umuaku person, Ndubuisi Ike portends a bad omen for them- he has never slept in Umuaku since he became a Mayor nor interact with them.
May Ndubuisi Ike never happen to Umunneochi Labour Party again!
Governor Otti has just two options:
• To continue dealing with Ike Ndubuisi and Ike Opigwe and lose Umunneochi as has been the cases in 2015, 2019, and 2023 elections (see the 2023 Gubernatorial and Fed. House results where Labour Party lost massively to PDP).
• Discard the Ikes and embrace other quality leaders in Umunneochi including Hon. Ogah, Hon. Nwachi, Hon. Chaka, Chief Ifesi, Chief Ike Orika, and others.
