Senator George Akume, the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, responded to a recent film that the Inter Party Advisory Council (IPAC) leadership had shown.

The documentary “Unbroken: Two and Half Decades” explores Nigeria’s social, political, and economic development and difficulties since 1999.

During a courtesy visit to the Presidential Villa on Monday, IPAC’s Executive Council members, led by National Chairman Yusuf Mamman Dantalle, asked the SGF about the film.

The SGF commended IPAC leaders for carrying out the project and assured them of the government’s support to ensure that the movie reached both old and new generations of Nigerians.

He emphasized the significance of preserving the country’s past and developing democracy.

“‘History’ as a subject be returned to the school curriculum,” was his opinion.

“This is a historic effort by IPAC to document the history and preserve the nation’s democracy,” Senator Akume said in support of the organization’s work.

The Chairman of the Steering Committee for 25 Years Democracy and the film “Unbroken: Two and Half Decades,” Barrister Dan Nwanyanwu, emphasized the importance of the project to the government and provided additional justifications.

Dr. Chris Oge Kalu, IPAC Public Relations Consultant, explained the significance of the film, the release date, and the range of international platforms on which it will be streamed, guaranteeing a positive global perception.

The well-planned documentary film production intends to reposition Nigeria’s image by highlighting the nation’s significant accomplishments and difficulties.

CNN, Netflix, and Amazon are just a few of the international streaming services that will offer “Unbroken: Two and Half Decades.”

According to the Permanent Secretary at the SGF office, the national reorientation project would receive support from the SGF office.

In addition to thanking the SGF for giving the council access, IPAC National Chairman Yusuf Dantalle promised him excellent production that would meet international standards.

Council was grateful for the government’s support and anticipated a fruitful project launch.
