Lead attorney for Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) leader Nnamdi Kanu, Aloy Ejimakor, identified two former high-ranking security personnel on Tuesday as the ones in charge of the remarkable rendition of the Biafra agitator.
According to Ejimakor, Kanu’s extraordinary rendition was the product of Yusuf Bichi, the former director general of the Department of State Services (DSS), and Ahmed Rufai, the recently retired director general of the National Intelligence Agency (NIA).
In June 2021, Kanu was extraordinary transported from Kenya to Nigeria.
The head of IPOB departed Nigeria subsequent to receiving bail from Justice Binta Nyako of the Federal High Court of Abuja.
After the Nigerian Army raided his home in the Abia State neighborhood of Afaraukwu, Kanu left the country in 2017.
Following a thorough search, the leader of IPOB was taken into custody and had to undergo an extraordinary rendition from Kenya.
Adeola Ajayi and Ambassador Mohammed Mohammed have taken Rufai and Bichi’s places, respectively, under President Bola Tinubu.
But Ejimakor posted on X, saying, “Do you know that Yusuf Bichi, who was dismissed as DG of DSS yesterday, and Ahmed Rufai, who resigned as DG of NIA, were vicariously accountable for the extraordinary rendition of MAZI NNAMDI KANU? Next up, who? #TouchNotMyAnnihilation
