The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Minister, Nyesom Wike, has been called before a disciplinary committee by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) due to suspected anti-party conduct.

Ibrahim Abdullahi, the PDP’s deputy national publicity secretary, revealed in a Monday interview with Channels TV.

In response to his recent remarks on the party, he claims that Wike has received a letter from the disciplinary committee requesting him to attend.

The FCT minister’s claim that PDP governors are “setting fire in their states” is inappropriate, according to Abdullahi.

He said, “Wike ought to be able to control his language; that was a really regrettable comment. To be honest with you, we weren’t expecting him to say that, and we disagree with him on that.

This occurs just hours after Wike, in the face of rumors and criticism regarding his nomination, stated that he was happy to be working for President Bola Tinubu.

Anyone who is upset about the FCT minister’s role in Tinubu’s administration, according to the minister, should go hug the transformer.
