Former Labour Party (LP) presidential campaign council spokesman Kenneth Okonkwo has accused Peter Obi, Atiku Abubakar, President Bola Tinubu, and former PDP presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar of resigning before the 2027 elections.
Because Tinubu, Obi, and Atiku have let Nigerians down, Okonkwo declared that they are unfit to run in the 2027 election.
The Nollywood star, who was speaking on Arise TV, also attacked the opposition for not uniting and cooperating to oppose the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
Okonkwo asserts: “I absolutely agree with you that we need fresh faces, which is why I have suggested that Tinubu, Peter Obi, and Atiku step down.
“The reason is that the ruling party has failed, and the opposition has failed. Are you aware that in the House of Representatives, you have more opposition members than the ruling class?
“I’m saying you don’t just finish an election, and the first thing you start talking about is the next election. You consolidate and form alliances amongst yourselves to work together as the opposition.
“If all the opposition members in the House of Representatives had come together, they would have produced the speaker and the vice.”
