Darren Bent, a former striker for England, believes Chelsea will place fourth in the Premier League this year.
Enzo Maresca has been appointed manager of the Blues in lieu of Mauricio Pochettino.
The team has one win, one tie, and one loss under Maresca’s leadership.
Yet, Bent has seen enough to conclude that Chelsea will qualify for the Champions League once more.
Fourth, he declared, was Chelsea. I simply think, “Look at how much firepower they have.” Although it’s a bit of a mess, I’ve seen sample sizes, such as the Wolves’ 6-2 away from home record. I am aware of their 1-1 draw with Palace, but they have also won, lost, and drawn.
“I feel that once Maresca has got his settled team now that the window has closed, no incoming and no outgoings and all that, a settled squad, I feel like they will finish in the top four.”
