The 2024 SSCE internal results have been made public by the National Examinations Council NECO.
Professor Dantani Wushishi, the Registrar and Chief Executive of NECO, revealed this information to reporters on Thursday during a conference at the organization’s Minna, Niger State, headquarters.
Wushishi added that NECO had de-recognized a school in Ekiti State and blacklisted 21 supervisors across 12 states for widespread cheating in two core subjects and one scientific subject.
According to him, it was suggested that the supervisors be placed on a blacklist because of their incompetence, intoxication, extortion, absconding, and bad oversight.
“Forty schools were found to have been involved in whole-school mass cheating in 17 states adding that the schools will be invited to the council for discussion after which appropriate sanctions will be applied,” he added.
