Ahead of the Primaries of the Labour Party, the People of Ugwueke/Ezeukwu has endorsed Mr Ogbu Onyemachi Sunday as sole aspirant for the Chairmanship ticket of the party ahead of the Abia State Local Government election scheduled for November 2nd 2024.
Ugwueke Community under the auspices of Ugwueke Political Forum during a meeting held on Tuesday 24th September 2024 at the Isieke Civic Center, said Mr Ogbu Onyemachi is the sole aspirant endorsed by the entire community for the Chairmanship ticket of the Labour Party.
The meeting which was attended by the community Stakeholders including Mr Ugwa Okoji, Ogwo Jonathan, Hon. Marshall Okorie, Mr John Okpara(PG Youth for Dev), Mr Chukwuemeka Sunday ( LP chairman), Gentle Paul(Aspirant), Hon. Chidiebere Anyim(incumbent council/aspirant, Chukwu Uche Chukwu, Samuel Uwadiegwu (NAUS president) Anthony Okereke ,Ihemelandu Ukwu among others declared Mr Ogbu as a Vibrant Young man that have impacted positively into the life of his People.
“Ugwueke Political Forum, Ugwueke Community, Ugwueke Youths will give him all the support needed to emerge as Chairmanship candidate of the Labour Party and subsequently Executive Chairman of Bende Local Government Area” the community stated.
