Chairmanship Aspirant on the Platform of the Labour Party for Ikwuano Local Government Area Prince Innocent Eleogu has felicitated with the good people of Ikwuano Local on the occasion of the 64th Anniversary of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Prince Eleogu in a statement on Tuesday encouraged Ikwuano people to stand strong in the face of the economic situation in Nigeria.
“As our nation marks another anniversary of nationhood today, I heartily felicitate with you, my dear kinsmen of Ikwuano, Abia state and Nigerians in general”
“Independence anniversary celebration is a time of sober reflection. It’s a time the celebrants count their milage and reflect on the journey so far. While the nation goes about this in her own peculiar way, it also offers us an opportunity to sit back as a people to take stock on our experiences over the past one year. It’s a time to compare notes. It’s a time to place where we are today in juxtaposition to where we were last year when this same celebration was held. Above all, it’s a time to review government policies, and its impacts on our individual lives and communities. It offers us an opportunity to strategize on how best we can leverage on these policies to better our lots as individuals as well as our communities “
