The Member Representing Bende South State Constituency at the Abia State House of Assembly Hon. Emmanuel Ndubuisi has condemned the gruesome beheading of a couple Mr and Mrs Jacob Udo on Tuesday 1st of October in Etiti-ulo, Bende Town.
Honorable Emmanuel Chinedu Ndubuisi, the proactive member representing Bende South State Constituency, during a visit to the scene of the unfortunate incident condemned the dastardly act, describing it as heinous and unacceptable.

Hon. Ndubuisi, popularly known as “Ijiriji Bende,” has urged the community to remain calm. “I implore the good people of Bende to remain peaceful and law-abiding,” he stressed. “We must work together to ensure that justice is served and that our community remains safe for all.”
Ijiriji Bende spoke with Mr. Chibuike Jacob Udo, son of the deceased couple. He was accompanied by Hon. Godwin Ndom, Mr. Benjamin Nwankwo, the community chairman and secretary, Chief Ibeji Ibeji, Mr. Oti Adibe, and some community leaders, including Chief Eugene Iniewe. He also met with the community leaders of Etitiulo Bende.
The lawmaker has called on the Abia State Government and relevant security agencies to swiftly investigate the incident and bring the perpetrators to book. “I appeal to the state government and security agencies to take immediate action to prevent future occurrences of such violence,” Hon. Ndubuisi emphasized.
“We must work together to protect the lives and properties of our citizens.” Hon. Ndubuisi also urged community leaders and peace-loving residents to collaborate with authorities to maintain public safety and peace. “The cooperation of our community leaders and residents is important in ensuring that justice is served and that our community remains peaceful,” he noted.
