According to Arsenal player Andre Harriman-Annous, his parents are from Ghana and Nigeria.
In doing so, Harriman-Annous alluded to his eligibility to play for the Nigerian, Ghanaian, and English national teams.
The child was born in London, England’s Barnet neighborhood.
He can play for the Super Eagles, the Black Stars, and his birthplace of England thanks to his Nigerian mother, Josephine Harriman, and his Ghanaian father.
“I grew up in Barnet and I started playing football in the park when I was four. My family background is African,” Harriman-Annous told Arsenal’s website.
“My mum is from Nigeria and my dad is Ghanaian.
“When I was around five or six, I started to develop and I was playing for a local team called Whetstone Wanderers.
“At around seven I was scouted for the Tottenham pre-academy and I was there for a year or so, but then Arsenal and I have been here ever since, which is a dream come true because I’m an Arsenal fan!”
