Teodoro Nguema, the vice president of Equatorial Guinea, has suspended all government employees and officials involved in s@xual scandals.
Nguema revealed that “severe measures” would be taken by the government to stop such behavior.
This was revealed by the vice president through his X page.
According to the vice president, the action was a component of a larger policy that has zero tolerance for actions that jeopardize the integrity of public service.
“Today, we will proceed with the immediate suspension of all officials who have had s@xual relations in the offices of the country’s ministries.
“The Government will take severe measures against these acts since it constitute a flagrant violation of the Code of Conduct and the Public Ethics Law.
“Ethics and respect are fundamental in our administration, and we will not allow irresponsible behaviour to compromise public trust.
“Responsibility and professionalism must be the pillars of our work as servants of the State.”
This coincides with the sexual scandals involving Baltasar Ebang Engonga, the Director General of Equatorial Guinea’s National Financial Investigation Agency, or ANIF.
Baltasar was captured on camera having s@x with the sister of the president of Equatorial Guinea, his brother’s wife, and a cousin.
