Former President Muhammadu Buhari established a strong foundation for President Bola Tinubu to build upon, according to Joe Igbokwe, a leader of the All Progressives Congress, or APC.
Igbokwe stated that since Buhari’s accomplishments and imprints are evident to everyone, Nigerians should disregard the accusations that he was a failure.
On his Facebook page, he shared: “Let nobody living or dead run away with the thinking that PMB is a failure. Perish the thought.
“He laid the solid foundation for PBAT to build on. We are seeing the footprints and the gains today.”
This comes after Babafemi Ojudu, the former presidential Special Adviser on Political Matters, claimed Buhari lacked vision.
According to Ojudu, Buhari’s lack of vision prevented him from supporting former Vice President Yemi Osinbajo’s presidential campaign.
However, he characterized Buhari as an uncorruptible leader and a nationalist.
