Rev. Fr. Emmanuel Obimma, a fiery priest who goes by Fada Ebube Muonso, has once again attacked Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, the governor of Anambra State, saying that the governor has not completed any projects in the state.
The priest was responding to the state’s increasing number of kidnappings. Since Obimma accused the governor of incompetence and openly denounced the degree of insecurity in Anambra, he and Soludo have been at odds.
Speaking to his congregation in Uke, Idemili South Local Government Area, on Wednesday, Obimma voiced his frustration, claiming that other South-East states have now overtaken Anambra, which was earlier thought to be a top-tier state.
He said: “Just the other day, the president was in Enugu to commission some projects in the state. In Anambra, what do we have to commission?
“Anambra under Soludo has no project to commission, except the blood of the innocent killed by kidnappers. Even the roads the governor claims he is building are all substandard. Go and look at them.”
Additionally, the priest attacked Dr. Law Mefor, the state’s Commissioner for Information, who recently called him a fake prophet in a published piece.
One positive aspect is that I am the target of their attack, Obimma stated. They’re going to die shortly. They’ll all notice, those media scumbags who are penning lies against me.
“They are occupied with criticizing a man of God rather than focusing their energies on addressing the issue of insecurity. Two Reverend Sisters were abducted at Ajalli only yesterday, Tuesday. Obimma said, “This government has failed.”
