The abductors of Folashade Odumosu, the wife of former Assistant Inspector General of Police Hakeem Odumosu, have been slain by Nigeria Police Force operations.
The victim also regained her release on Wednesday, according to Olumuyiwa Adejobi, the Force Public Relations Officer, who made this revelation to Channels TV on Thursday morning.
The wife of the retired AIG was abducted last Thursday at the entrance to her home in Arepo, Ogun State’s Owode Local Government Area.
It was discovered that the operation that saved the retired AIG’s wife was headed by Lanre Ogunlowo, the commissioner of police for Ogun State.
The woman was dragged out of her SUV by the kidnappers, who then took her through a swamp to an unidentified location.
Adejobi provided an update on the situation, stating that the agents also found the money that was paid to the kidnappers as a lure.
He will not, however, provide the precise location of the victim’s rescue or the sum paid to the captors.
