According to Kehinde Edun, the legal adviser for the Julius Abure-led section of the Labour Party, Mr. Peter Obi, the party’s presidential candidate, has returned and is collaborating with the troubled national chairman.
Edun made this claim on Wednesday during his Q&A session on Channels Television’s Politics Today show.
“I believe so. He hasn’t made any categorical statement about that. He hasn’t said he has left the party.
“Yes, he’s with us, and I believe he’s speaking with Abure. That’s what I know and believe,” he responded to a question about whether Peter Obi was back with Abure.
A leadership crisis has reportedly engulfed the Labour Party, with Abure at the core of the dispute.
