The Trans-Niger Pipeline in Bodo, Gokana Local Government Area, Rivers State, was shaken by an explosion.

The Bodo-Bonny Road, which is presently being construction, was the site of the late Monday night explosion.

Although the precise reason of the explosion is still unknown, the major pipeline’s injured section is still burning.

It’s uncertain if human intervention caused the tragedy, particularly in light of militant organizations’ previous threats to strike oil sites.

The Federal Government’s withholding of Rivers State’s allocation because of the ongoing political instability is the source of these threats.

Crude oil is delivered to the Bonny export terminal in Rivers State via the TNP, a vital federal oil transport line.

The explosion has sparked worries about possible harm to the environment and interruptions to the local oil supply.

Regarding the incident, government officials have not yet released any statements.
