The Dangote Petroleum Refinery has lowered the ex-depot (ex-gantry) price of its premium motor spirit (PMS) from ₦880 to ₦865 per litre, which may provide some respite for consumers.
In a statement to reporters on Thursday, a $20 billion refinery executive acknowledged the situation and said the new pricing had already been communicated to distributors and marketers.
This change is made in the midst of persistent worries about rising gasoline prices and how they affect inflation and national transportation.
