In a significant development today, Rivers State Administrator, Ibok-Ete Ibas, officially swore in the newly appointed administrators for the 23 Local Government Areas (LGAs) of the State.
The swearing-in ceremony, which took place at the Government House in Port Harcourt, marks a new chapter in the administration of local governance across Rivers State. Addressing the newly appointed officials, Ibas charged them to uphold transparency, accountability, and the rule of law in the discharge of their duties.
He emphasized the need for grassroots development and urged the administrators to work closely with community leaders to drive positive change at the local level.
