Bukayo Saka, a winger for Arsenal, believes the Gunners will win the Champions League trophy this year.
Saka talked following Arsenal’s victory over Real Madrid in Wednesday’s second leg of the Champions League quarterfinal.
The England international gave the visitors the lead in the second half after missing a penalty during the match.
The game concluded 2-1 at Santiago Bernabeu, with his teammate Gabriel Martinelli scoring another goal for the Premier League North London outfit.
After winning the first leg 3-0 at Emirates, Arsenal advanced to the round of four with a 5-1 aggregate victory.
Later this month, Mikel Arteta’s team will play Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League semifinal.
“We can beat the best teams in Europe at home and away, you can see that,” Saka said at his post-match interview after the match.
“I like to believe that we can WIN the Champions League. I think we can.”
