No Nigerian governor, including Ademola Adeleke of Osun State, will back former PDP presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar in 2027, according to Ayekooto Akindele, a leader of the All Progressives Congress, or APC.

Akindele made fun of Atiku by claiming that Adeleke no longer answers the former vice president’s calls during the day.

The APC leader stated in a post on X that Tinubu’s second term cannot be stopped by Atiku or Nasir El-Rufai, the former governor of Kaduna State.

He was responding to rumors that Tinubu and PDP governors had reached an agreement.

According to reports, the crisis that rocked the opposition party was caused by Tinubu’s agreement with certain PDP governors.

Recall that Umo Eno, the governor of Akwa Ibom State, recently announced that Tinubu would hold onto office till 2031.

According to the PDP governor, Tinubu will be reelected because he has the support of Nigerians.

Following the PDP Governors Forum’s commitment to never support Atiku’s coalition, Eno made the statement.

“No Nigerian governor has stated that he will back Atiku in 2027,” Akindele wrote. Adeleke doesn’t even return Atiku’s calls during the day.

“I want to see Atiku’s face when Fintiri eventually joins the APC.

“One million Atikus and El-Rufais cannot stop the South and Tinubu from spending EIGHT YEARS in power.

“When it comes to politics, don’t drag anything with the JAGABAN. No matter how plenty the chicks are, they’ll always follow the Chicken from behind.”
