Governor Charles Soludo of Anambra State has pledged unwavering support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, emphasizing the state’s commitment to ensuring the President succeeds and excels in his leadership.
Speaking during President Tinubu’s official visit to Anambra on Thursday, Soludo declared that the state is aligned with the federal government’s vision and ready to contribute meaningfully to its progress.
“For the sake of Nigeria and future generations, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu must succeed,” the governor said. “We are prepared to support him in every possible way, not just to succeed, but to excel.”
Soludo reaffirmed that the people of Anambra and the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) share a progressive ideology with the All Progressives Congress (APC), particularly in their commitment to federalism and people-driven development.
“APGA is ideologically and strategically aligned with the centre,” he stated. “We are implementing bold, people-centric programs, free education, healthcare for women, youth empowerment, and massive agricultural initiatives that align closely with the Renewed Hope Agenda.”
Meanwhile, in a separate development, APC chieftain Valentine Ozigbo has accused Governor Soludo of allegedly collaborating with President Tinubu to destabilize the APC in Anambra. Ozigbo claimed that the party’s governorship candidate, Ukachukwu, is being used as a political tool in this effort.
