Renowned football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that Saudi Pro League giants Al Hilal have submitted an official offer to Napoli for the transfer of Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen.
According to Romano, Al Hilal’s proposal includes a €65 million fixed fee along with €5 million in add-ons, bringing the total package to €70 million. The decision now rests with Napoli’s management.
“Al Hilal submit official bid to Napoli for Victor Osimhen as top target,” Romano posted on Thursday.
“Proposal worth €65m fixed fee plus €5m add-ons, decision up to Napoli now.
This follows story revealed yesterday on Al Hilal in contact with Osimhen over salary/personal terms.”
The latest development comes after newly appointed Al Hilal manager, Simone Inzaghi, reportedly gave his approval for the club to pursue the Super Eagles forward.
Osimhen, who spent last season on loan at Galatasaray, is set to return to Napoli, but all indications suggest he will make a permanent move this summer. Al Hilal has identified the 26-year-old as their top transfer priority ahead of their participation in the upcoming FIFA Club World Cup.
The move signals the Saudi club’s continued push to bring top international talent to the league, while Osimhen’s future remains a major point of interest in the summer transfer market.
