The Member Representing Bende South State Constituency in the Abia State House of Assembly, Hon. Emmanuel Ndubuisi, has officially resigned his membership of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
Hon. Ndubuisi, who was first elected into the Abia State House of Assembly in 2019 and successfully re-elected in 2023 under the PDP, has taken a bold political step as he prepares to decamp to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
It was reliably gathered that the lawmaker convened a strategic meeting with his political supporters on Saturday, June 21, 2025, where he formally disclosed his intention to defect to the APC.
The official defection and declaration are expected to take place in the coming days.
