The much-anticipated grand finale of the second edition of the ENYIMBAPEDIA Mathematics Competition by Prince Paul Ikonne Foundation held yesterday and brought together some of the brightest young minds from across Abia State.
Students from Divine International School, Deeper Life High School, and Christ the King Cathedral Secondary School showcased their mathematical prowess in a fierce but inspiring contest.
Throughout the competition, participants impressed judges and audiences alike with their remarkable skills in mental arithmetic, speed-based problem-solving, and strategic thinking—all under strict time constraints.
After an intense contest, Deeper Life High School emerged as the overall winner, clinching the grand prize of ₦1,000,000.
Divine International School came in as the first runner-up, earning ₦500,000, while Christ the King Cathedral Secondary School secured the second runner-up position with a cash reward of ₦250,000.
Overjoyed by the results, the students expressed gratitude to the organisers and sponsors, particularly the Prince Paul Ikonne Foundation, for the opportunity and encouragement.
Speaking to journalists, Moses Orji, Media Adviser to the Foundation, reiterated their commitment to promoting education and contributing meaningfully to the academic development of Abia State.
