England clinched the UEFA Women’s Euro 2025 title on Sunday night, overcoming Spain 3-1 on penalties after a 1-1 draw at St. Jakob-Park in Basel, Switzerland.
Spain took the lead through Mariona Caldentey in the first half, but Alessia Russo equalised for England in the second half to force extra time and penalties. The Lionesses held their nerve in the shoot-out to lift the trophy.
