The Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN), Aba Depot Unit, has announced that its 2025 Annual General Meeting (AGM) will hold on Tuesday, 19th August 2025 at the El-Dorado Hotels & Event Center, Aba–Owerri Road, Aba, starting at 10:00 a.m.

According to the association, the AGM will bring together independent petroleum marketers, station owners, and other key stakeholders in the downstream oil and gas sector to deliberate on issues of strategic importance to their operations.

Speaking on the planned gathering, IPMAN Aba Depot Chairman, Mazi Oliver Okolo, said the meeting will focus on “crucial matters affecting members’ businesses, including the recent surge in revenue demands by certain government agencies.” He noted that the association will use the opportunity to seek a united position and practical solutions to the challenges facing independent marketers in the region.

One of the highlights of the meeting will be a presentation by TRADEGRID, a firm offering innovative energy solutions. The company is expected to unveil solar installation packages of 5kVA and 10kVA tailored for filling stations, along with a credit line scheme for petroleum product supply.

IPMAN Aba Depot Secretary, Obike Imo Mascot, added that this year’s AGM would not only address immediate operational issues but also explore long-term strategies for sustaining profitability in an evolving energy landscape.

All IPMAN members and station owners in the Aba Depot Unit are urged to attend the meeting in person, as decisions taken will be binding on the association.
