A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Ayekooto Akindele, has outlined reasons he believes President Bola Tinubu holds a political advantage over former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, former Minister of Transportation Rotimi Amaechi, and former Anambra State governor Peter Obi ahead of the 2027 general elections.
In a post on his X handle, Akindele claimed that Atiku “has never been considered for the presidency since 2007,” while Amaechi “has never won any election after Wike left him.” He further alleged that Obi “has never won any election since the late Odumegwu Ojukwu died.”
According to Akindele, Tinubu’s political track record sets him apart, as he has secured electoral victories across different political eras.
He wrote: “Amaechi has never won any election after Wike left him. Atiku is never a fan of election victory since 2007.
“And since Ojukwu died, Obi has never won any election again! Tinubu won an election during Abiola era.
“Tinubu won election during AD era. Tinubu won an election in this APC era. These are hard facts of destiny! Jummat Mubarak to All Progressives only.”
