The Abia Rejoice Movement has celebrated its Board Chairman and pioneer member, High Chief Uzo Egbo, on the occasion of his birthday.
In a goodwill message issued on behalf of the Doyen of the Movement, Dr. Uche Ogah, the management and board of directors described High Chief Egbo as “an iconic democratic institution in human form” whose contributions to administration and governance in Abia State remain indelible.
The statement recalled his outstanding records of service, including his tenure as Chairman of the then Isuikwuato/Umunneochi Local Government under the administration of the late Governor Chief Ogbonnaya Onu.
According to the Movement, High Chief Egbo is not only a founding father of Abia State but also a charismatic leader, a perfect gentleman, and a trusted ally of Dr. Ogah.
“His perseverance, dedication and optimism over the years in all fields of endeavour are truly worth admiring. We celebrate a generational seed whose impact will continue to inspire,” the statement read in part.
The Abia Rejoice Movement wished him a joyous celebration, praying for long life, good health, peace, and God’s abundant blessings in the years ahead.
