The Special Adviser to President Tinubu on Policy Communication, Daniel Bwala, has addressed the delay in the release of Nigeria’s ambassadorial list, attributing it to funding constraints affecting foreign embassies.
Speaking on a podcast, PAPShow, Bwala assured that the issue is being diligently addressed and that the list will be resolved promptly to ensure effective representation.
Bwala highlighted that despite public concerns, Tinubu can strategically prioritise appointments to G20 nations due to their significant economic partnerships with Nigeria.
This comes amid growing clamor for the release of the ambassadorial list, which has been delayed for a while.
He said: “Mr. President has acknowledged the delays in the ambassadorial list, primarily due to funding constraints affecting our foreign embassies, an issue I am diligently addressing.
”Despite the surrounding clamor, the President can strategically prioritize appointments to G20 nations, recognizing their critical economic partnerships with us.
”The ambassadorial list will be resolved promptly, ensuring effective representation.”
