Super Eagles forward Victor Osimhen is in line to feature for Galatasaray as they kick off their UEFA Champions League campaign against Eintracht Frankfurt.
The 26-year-old has been sidelined since sustaining a bruised shin during Nigeria’s 1-0 victory over Rwanda in a 2026 World Cup qualifier in Uyo, Akwa Ibom. He has not played for the Turkish champions since then.
According to reports from Harbeler, Osimhen has indicated his readiness to make sacrifices in order to be available for Wednesday’s fixture. It is understood that the striker is prepared to take an injection to manage the pain and has already informed Coach Okan Buruk of his determination to play.
Osimhen has a strong record against the German side, having scored three goals in three previous meetings with Frankfurt.
