Chieftain of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Dele Momodu, on Wednesday hosted former Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, in Accra, Ghana.

Momodu confirmed the visit in a post on his official X account, stating that he received Obi earlier in the morning before hosting him to breakfast at his residence.

“Earlier this morning, I welcomed the former Labour Party Presidential candidate and former Anambra State Governor, His Excellency Peter Obi, to the beautiful city of Accra, Ghana, and we headed to my home for breakfast,” Momodu wrote.

Details of their discussions were not made public as of press time.

Obi, who contested Nigeria’s 2023 presidential election on the Labour Party platform, has remained an active voice in national discourse and regularly meets political leaders, business figures, and members of the Nigerian diaspora.

Last Sunday, he held a closed-door meeting with former President Olusegun Obasanjo before paying a visit to the new Olubadan of Ibadan, Oba Rasheed Ladoja, in Oyo State.
