Four prominent Nigerian football administrators have been appointed to important standing committees of the Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA).
President of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Ibrahim Musa Gusau, has been named to the FIFA Men’s Club Competitions Committee, the body responsible for shaping the structure and governance of global club tournaments. Gusau succeeded Amaju Pinnick as NFF President in October 2022.
Others who received appointments include Aisha Falode, who now serves on the FIFA Media and Communications Committee, and Abdulhakeem Mustapha, SAN, who has been appointed to the Anti-Racism and Anti-Discrimination Committee.
Meanwhile, former NFF President Amaju Pinnick has been reappointed as Deputy Chair of the FIFA Men’s National Teams Competitions Committee.
“I wholeheartedly congratulate President Gusau, Abdulhakeem Mustapha, SAN, and Aisha Falode on their well-deserved appointments,” Pinnick said.
