The Football Association is preparing to sanction Arsenal on disciplinary grounds following their 1 1 draw against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
The Gunners left the intense Premier League clash with a point but also accumulated six yellow cards issued by referee Anthony Taylor including three within the opening 30 minutes.
Under FA regulations any team that receives six or more bookings in a single match is fined twenty five thousand pounds meaning Arsenal will now face the mandatory penalty.
This is not the first time the club has been punished for excessive cautions. Arsenal were handed the same fine in February 2024 after their fixture against Liverpool.
The match also saw Chelsea midfielder Moises Caicedo sent off with a straight red card in the first half.
