A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Joe Igbokwe, has countered former Kaduna State governor, Nasir El Rufai, over claims that the ruling party could lose power in the 2027 general elections.

El Rufai had made the assertion on Thursday while speaking at the 23rd Daily Trust Dialogue, where he suggested that the APC’s hold on power might end after 2027.

Reacting in a post on Facebook, Igbokwe dismissed the claim and outlined ten reasons President Bola Tinubu would be re elected in 2027.

The post reads: “Let me tell my good friend, HE El Rufai that this is not possible given the permutations on ground. Why?

“PBAT is fixing Nigeria the way never seen before.

“PBAT has a deep background knowledge of how to fix Nigeria.

“PBAT has touched lives across Nigeria more than any Nigerian living or dead.

“PBAT has been the most educated, the most cerebral, the bean counter of all those that have ruled in the past 30 years.

“PBAT prepared for this job for more than 20 years.

“PBAT has built monumental bridges across Nigeria.

“PBAT set up all the new agencies and departments you see in Lagos today and other States began to copy them.

“PBAT has been a financial guru from time immemorial.

“PBAT has been an unprecedented giver, he shows mercy to people.

“PBAT has built leaders more than anybody in this Country living or dead. This is what separates PBAT from others.”
