A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Joe Igbokwe, has said that President Bola Tinubu is not joking with governance, amid revelations of an alleged coup plot against his administration.
Igbokwe made the remark following reports of a foiled attempt by some members of the Nigerian Armed Forces to overthrow President Tinubu.
The comment came as the Defence Headquarters released the names of 16 officers of the Nigerian Armed Forces indicted by a Special Investigative Panel for allegedly plotting a coup against the President.
The panel reportedly indicted the 16 soldiers for serious misconduct, including an alleged plan to topple Tinubu’s government.
Reacting in a post on Facebook, Igbokwe wrote:
“I hear that this is the face of the man who led the coup against PBAT. He will collect well well. Some people think PBAT is joking. No sir.
“He is here to rework, retool, rejig, reposition, refix, rewind and reinstall Nigeria.
“What you sow you reap. So some people think PBAT na their mate abi? May thunder fire the devil a trillion times.”
