Tinubu Appoints 65 Ambassadors, Reno Omokri Heads to Mexico

President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment and posting of 65 ambassadors to represent Nigeria in various countries and international missions around the world.

The list includes 31 career diplomats and 34 non career ambassadors who will serve in different strategic locations across Africa, Europe, Asia, the Americas and the United Nations.

Details of the postings were disclosed in a statement issued on Friday by the President’s media aide, Bayo Onanuga.

Among the notable appointments, former presidential spokesman Reno Omokri has been posted to Mexico City, Mexico, while former Minister of Aviation Femi Fani Kayode has been assigned to Germany.

The appointments form part of efforts by the administration to strengthen Nigeria’s diplomatic presence and deepen bilateral relations with countries across the globe.
